These barbaric slaughtering of Animals that take place IS NOT CULTURE and governments, mayors and councillors authorities in those areas need to be held accountable to put an END to suffering of Dogs Cats Animals.

Every year truckloads of dogs and cats many of them which are stolen pets are Illegally driven long distances across provincial borders without the legally required quarantine documents, to be tortured and brutally slaughtered for their meat in Yulin in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
We request your intervention to Stop and Outlaw the Barbaric Yulin Dog and Cat meat trade, which is increased around 21st June. As you know this involves the slaughter and consumption of thousands of dogs and cats, leading to not only immense animal suffering and cruelty but also posing significant health risk. The conditions in which these poor animals are kept in and slaughtered are Barbaric.
Allowing this animal cruelty to continue sends a distressing message to the world about China's stance on animal welfare and public health and safety. There is a growing global movement to permanently Outlaw the dog and cat meat trade, and many nations have already banned it.

Up until a few years Chinese cities of Shenzhen and Zhuhai have introduced city-wide BAN on Dog and Cat Meat consumption but this is NOT being ENFORCED.
The national government also publicly stated that dogs are considered as companions NOT livestock but did not back this up resulting in the Government and Authorities NOT implementing a NATIONAL BAN therefore Dog Meat Traders, Animal Traffickers. Animal Abusers are continuing this HORRIFIC Trade.
The SICKENING Dog and Cat Cruelty TORTURE and SLAUGHTER in Yulin is increased around the summer SOLSTICE but this is HAPPENING EVERY DAY in YULIN and the rest of China.
The Yulin Municipal Government has repeatedly IGNORED the BARBARITY.
